Thank you for your interest in our research! Please see the flyers below to learn more about our studies and how you and your child can participate:
Snooze Study
As children transition into adolescence, their sleep patterns often shift due to changes in their biological clocks, academic demands, increased technology use, and growing social pressures. These changes can significantly impact learning, attention, and mental health. This study aims to better understand how sleep influences brain development and behavior during adolescence, highlighting the importance of healthy sleep patterns during this critical developmental period.
Brain Explorers
During childhood, the brain undergoes significant changes that shape learning, memory, attention, and behavior. The Brain Explorers study aims to better understand how children's brains develop and how these changes influence their cognitive abilities. Through interactive games, surveys, and MRI brain scans, researchers examine the relationship between brain development and learning in children ages 9–11. This research seeks to provide valuable insights into how the developing brain supports learning and cognitive growth during this important stage of childhood.
Bridge Study
As children transition from middle school to high school, their brains undergo significant changes that influence learning, attention, and behavior. This longitudinal study aims to better understand how the brain develops throughout adolescence by following students from eighth through tenth grade. Through computer games, surveys, and MRI brain scans, researchers examine changes in brain structure and function over time. This research seeks to provide valuable insights into adolescent brain development and how these changes relate to cognitive and behavioral growth during this important developmental period.
